The Motion Designer will be focused on bringing content stories, interactive experiences and advertising initiatives to life. The candidate will work closely within gyro’s creative group to ideate, design, animate and implement breakthrough ideas using video.

The Motion Designer must be a self-starter with a strong work ethic, a vivid imagination and excellent communication skills. They should understand brand marketing objectives and proactively contribute to the evolution and success of the business by creatively bringing to life conceptual ideas using timeline-based programs and video storytelling.

The Designer should have the ability to create ideas and interpret verbal direction into visual beauty and adapt to different design styles while adhering to various brand guidelines. The Designer should be able to generate multiple distinct compositions while working within project schedules and deadlines. Quality and consistency is important as is successfully interpreting the client’s needs.

Tasks include: storyboarding, video editing, motion design, creating full length videos, product demos, concept videos, brand videos, archiving work, commercial spots, online webisodes, animations and even title sequences.

 Agency Accountant/Engagement Specialist

 SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to perform  day-to-day operations  accounting and analysis work, monthly reconciliations and close, analytical and general accounting support, and assisting/training account staff with proper billing and vendor set up needs. The Accountant will be involved in all aspects of monthly accounting for an advertising agency, which will include client billing, revenue recognition, monthly reconciliations and month end financial statement preparation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Meet with account staff on weekly basis to discuss status of jobs
  • Review weekly office reporting and analyze ongoing trends
  • Prepare monthly/ongoing client billing invoices
  • Recognize revenue on monthly billings using the percentage of completion revenue recognition methodology
  • Reconcile deferred revenue monthly
  • Mid-month review of job status with account staff for purpose of determining monthly revenue
  • Meet with account staff to complete month end review of open jobs to assess the validity of the forecast
  • Support ccount teams with preparation and review of vendor provider agreements, and other documents
  • Support  account teams with review of client statements of work and terms and conditions
  • Act as liaison between Account teams and Accounts Payable
  • Accuracy and timeliness in execution of all assigned tasks
  • Ability to anticipate needs and facilitate work
  • Cooperative relationship with internal team, with a customer service mentality

The candidate must have reconciliation experience, be detail oriented and skilled at multitasking. As an Agency Accountant you will be the key point of contact for our account executives for related billing questions; therefore, the ideal candidate will be able to communicate with a variety of people and flexible enough to deal with multiple projects and different types of clients at the same time.

The ideal candidate uses Microsoft excel on a daily basis to „dump“ and analyze data, multi-tasks as a matter of fact, takes extreme pride in getting work done right the first time, seeks perfection and is able to interact with all levels of personnel.
QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor‘s Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 4 – 6 years of related accounting work experience
  • Agency experience would be helpful
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence and common business documents and legal documents.  Ability to write business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to employees.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding in order to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to calculate percentage of completion revenue and to calculate deferred revenue.

The Account Planner’s role is to combine the attitudes and interests of consumers, clients and creatives to help produce effective advertising. Acting as the voice of the consumer within an agency, the Account Planner will use research data to identify ideal audiences and optimum methods of communication. The Senior Account Executive is responsible for the execution of all assigned client projects. The Senior AE coordinates and manages agency resources for their projects and acts as the day-to-day interface between the various agency departments that are involved in project development. This position is instrumental in ensuring that projects are completed on time, on-budget and well exceed client/agency objectives.

  • Develop full understanding of clients’ business, competitive challenges, and how key strategic issues could impact client/agency objectives
  • Develop and utilize an understanding of integrated marketing campaign management, production processes and reporting
  • Develop project/creative/media briefs based on client/agency input and present briefs to creative team and other agency departments involved in the project’s development

The Strategic Account Planner is responsible for distilling the most essential insights, building and presenting a smart, well rationalized strategy recommendation for the client and inspiring internal teams to develop breakthrough creative ideas that address defined business problems. Account Planning’s core charter has always been to bring the attitudes, behaviors and interests of customers into the creative process to produce more compelling and effective advertising. However, as the definition of “advertising” has expanded to include messaging, content and experiences delivered across paid, owned and earned media, the responsibilities of Account Planning have expanded as well. The Account Executive is responsible for the day-to-day management of the client’s business. This position is instrumental in ensuring that all client projects are completed on time, on budget and meet client/agency objectives. The Account Supervisor is responsible for managing, coordinating and leading agency resources to meet the integrated marketing communication needs of assigned accounts. The Media Planner works closely with all personnel representing the media team. This person provides guidance for Assistant Media Planners with execution of day-to-day tasks, supports entire media team with array of planning processes, and creates and expresses original ideas. In support of the senior media staff, the Media Planner assists in preparing media plans and/or comprehensive media proposals. The Account Executive is responsible for the day-to-day management of the client’s business. This position is instrumental in ensuring that all client projects are completed on time, on budget and meet client/agency objectives. The AE works with Project Management to coordinate agency resources for their projects and will interface with the various departments and personnel that are involved in project development on a day-to-day basis.

  • Act as primary client contact for appropriate client match
  • Develop knowledge of clients’ business, competitive challenges, and how key strategic 
issues could impact client/agency objectives
  • Develop an understanding of integrated marketing campaign management, production processes 
and reporting and participate in the marketing planning process
  • Learn how multiple marketing disciplines, beyond just advertising or direct response, can best 
work together to support client goals
  • Provide effective/timely communications to agency staff, clients, and partner agencies through 
conference reports, emails, etc.
  • Develop, with AS supervision, tactical briefs based on client/agency input and present briefs to 
creative team and other agency departments involved in the project’s development
  • Learn how to analyze campaign results, draw conclusions and proactively make 
recommendations to optimize the client’s program
  • Learn to evaluate copy, layout/artwork, media plans and production materials against approved 
briefs and make recommendations as appropriate prior to concepts being presented to clients
  • Implement tactical programs through production across channels
  • Coordinate development of estimates, billing and vendor invoices within approved budgets
  • Track agency time logged against estimates and reconcile on a bi-monthly basis
  • Partner with Project Management to confirm that projects in the pipeline are progressing 
according to client expectation and, if project delays or cost/time overages are suspected, 
proactively address situation with manager
  • Liaise with peers at client partner agencies to manage process effectively and resolve 
conflict as needed
  • Keep supervisor and management fully informed of account challenges and opportunities

We are looking for someone who will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
  • MUST HAVE HEALTH CARE EXPERIENCE 
  • 1-4 yrs. relevant marketing programs management and/or agency experience
  • Knowledge of digital marketing
  • B-to-B experience preferred
  • Knowledge of 1-2 integrated marketing expertise areas (print advertising, interactive, online/offline direct marketing, vendor management)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Reporting to the Director of Resource and Project Management, the Project Manager will be responsible for all project management responsibilities from forecasting and planning all the way through delivery. This includes:

  • Development of detailed project plans with timings, resource allocation, milestones, and deliverables
  • Facilitate an environment and process that allows all departments to focus on their job primary responsibilities
  • Work with Account Management, Strategy, Creative Directors and Producers to generate schedules for overall project completion and make updates as needed, notifying all appropriate parties
  • Set and lead meetings in conjunction with Account Management
  • Resource planning and management in order to maximize staff utilization
  • Work with Account Management to create scopes of work (SOW)
  • Continual assessment of project status to ensure goals are being met and that they‘re within scope and budget
  • Provide direction and insightful solutions to circumvent project issues and to take advantage of opportunities
  • Regularly communicate status of projects by means of weekly meetings, status reports, and updates throughout the day
  • Ensure that the fundamental processes are adhered to
  • Loop production in during creative development and work with them closely through delivery
  • Help to maintain overall quality by assisting Account Management with proofing materials prior to routing
  • Influence and evangelize process improvement initiatives across multiple departments and locations
  • Must be able to diplomatically enforce deadlines
  • Willingness to do what it takes to see projects through to completion and meet tight deadlines

We are looking for someone who will bring

  •  Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of project management experience
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Passion for creative and a thorough understanding of creative and design process
  • Strong leadership abilities
  • Must be able to coordinate and facilitate productive discussions and meetings
  • Must have outstanding interpersonal and problem solving skills and be a team player
  • Previous experience in advertising and/or marketing

  • Experience producing a variety of content deliverables, including blog posts, articles, podcasts, videos, webinars, infographics, social media chatter and media relations materials
  • Agency or publishing experience preferred
