BtoB Magazine Recognizes gyro Clients as Top Digital Marketers

NEW YORK — In its third annual Top Digital Marketers special report, BtoB magazine recognized 25 marketers who are doing exceptional digital work.

Based on criteria including strong interactive vision and strategy as part of their overall marketing efforts, Hobart, Makino Inc. and USG Corp. received this year’s top honors, along with other notable organizations including SAP, VMWare and HP.

Hobart, the world leader in commercial food equipment and service for the foodservice and grocery industries, has seen monumental growth as part of an integrated approach to its successful “Get Back to Scratch” campaign and Spotlight app.  As a result, Hobart has brought technology to life through a more customized user experience while raising awareness of the brand as the premier supporter of the real-food movement.

Following two record years for sales, Makino Inc.’s digital marketing efforts have lead to year-over-year growth of more than 25 percent.  Over the past year, Makino’s digital team employed traditional marketing methods while using big data to target consumers.  As part of its “Make What Matters” campaign, Makino has seen success through higher-impact illustrations, social media innovation and engaging digital content.

Building materials company USG Corp.’s interactive marketing program focuses on getting contractors, architects and builders that are its target audience to be lifelong customers.  The company has built a strong foundation for its efforts through a new marketing automation system and text messaging cloud service, which help to build a dialogue with its customers.  USG’s recent call to action within the packaging of a new product has been successful at attracting new contacts and driving traffic to their website.

The Top Digital Marketer of the year will be announced at a luncheon in San Francisco on Sept. 19.
