gyro London Hires Fran Caplan to Boost New Business

United Kingdom [February 22, 2016] – gyro, the global ideas shop, has appointed krow’s former Marketing Chief Fran Caplan to the newly created role of Marketing Director in charge of gyro London’s growth and reputation.

Caplan spent the last three years as marketing director at krow, during which time the agency experienced a successful period of growth with the notable addition of Virgin Trains West & East Coast joining its client list. Previously she was at St Luke’s, Brothers & Sisters and McCann London as a new business consultant.

She starts at gyro with immediate effect. She joins the London management trio of Managing Director Kate Howe, Executive Creative Director David Harris and Head of Strategy and Media Jake Dyer.

Caplan said she was delighted to join a team “with an unmatched energy that believes in creating a sustainable and strong communications model. Recent wins for gyro London include big data company Teradata, Columbia Threadneedle Investments, Watco UK flooring products, bio-based products company Corbion, and global business for audio tech specialists Jabra.

Howe, the former European President of DraftFCB, joined gyro in summer 2014. She drafted in Harris, the former Executive Creative Director at Wunderman and DraftFCB last June.
