gyro Manchester Grows With Three New Staff Hires

Manchester [May 6, 2014] – gyro, the global ideas shop, is continuing its ‘Year of Transformation’ following a series of new client wins by hiring three new members to its growing team.

Eilidh MacDonald and Nicole Lloyd join as Account Manager and Senior Account Executive respectively. Eilidh joins from her role as Account Manager at Manchester Creative Agency, Pixel8, bringing with her a wealth of client experience including Kia and Mr Simms Olde Sweet Shoppe. Nicole, a familiar face to gyro Manchester, having started her career at the agency in 2010, rejoins from a client side role at Mansion Group. Placed in two of the agency’s three strong client service teams, the pair will work across some of gyro Manchester’s key clients including DuPont and Stoneridge Electronics.

Joanna Spencer, gyro Manchester’s latest hire as Junior Planner, joins from her current position at Code Computer Love. Joanna will support the agency’s strategy team and work across all of the agency’s key clients in what looks to be a busy 2014.

Danny Turnbull, Managing Director, gyro Manchester, commented, “I’m delighted to have got off to a flying start in 2014. We’ve picked up three pieces of business in the first quarter and I’m delighted to confirm a corresponding number of hires. I have a great belief in investing in young talent, witnessed by gyro’s recent IPA Gold award, and am particularly happy to welcome back to gyro an employee who we hired and trained as a graduate. My feeling is that 2014 will be a strong year for us and for our wider industry as economic recovery starts to take hold.”
