In Europe, gyro Paris received two Effie Awards for its powerful “Stop, that’s enough!” anti-harassment campaign for the French Ministry of Social Affairs, Health and Women’s Rights – Gold in the Low Budget category and Bronze in the Public Communication category.
Globally, gyro New York won a D&AD Impact Wood Pencil in the Humanitarian Aid category for its Bennison “Baby Care Wear” work after receiving a D&AD Wood Pencil for Sustainable Packaging Design earlier in the year.
gyro Madrid took home top honors at the World Luxury Awards for its experiential “Le Hidden Make Up Show” campaign for Givenchy. The team won Gold in the Parfum & Cosmetics category.
The International Best in Biz awards, which recognize companies, teams, executives and products globally for unparalleled business success, also awarded gyro Global ceo+cco Christoph Becker Gold in the Creative Executive of the Year category.
All of these recognitions were befitting to a memorable year for gyro, which was acquired by the Dentsu Aegis Network (DAN) in July 2016. MediaPost, a leading U.S. marketing/advertising outlet, awarded DAN 2016 Holding Company of the Year.
