LONDON – (October 15, 2010) – Top 50 advertising agency network gyro (GyroHSR) has appointed Marie-France van Heel as head of planning, based at its Manchester office.
Van Heel will head up the planning department at the Manchester marketing agency, working across the a client roster including T-Mobile, HSS and Fujitsu.
At gyro, van Heel will be responsible for developing the agency’s insight driven offering, adding strategic value to clients’ businesses. This includes research and analysis of clients’ markets and customer behaviour to produce a tailored marketing programme. Van Heel will also be charged with helping clients to develop and implement customer engagement and CRM strategies.
Van Heel brings a wealth of experience to the post, having previously worked as head of marketing at BSkyB, where she helped launch Sky Digital. Other roles include head of marketing at MTV Europe and planning director at WRG Creative Communications; where clients included Vodafone and The Body Shop. Van Heel’s experience spans a spectrum of marketing disciplines ranging from strategy, intelligence, branding, implementation and engagement.
