[NEW YORK – OCTOBER, 24,  2011] – gyro, the global ideas shop, has today confirmed JWT New York’s director of communications Kenneth Hein, will join the agency in early November.

Hein will join gyro as marketing director, supporting the agency’s six offices across North America: Chicago, Cincinnati, Denver, New York, San Francisco and Washington, D.C. Reporting directly into gyro’s chief executive and chief creative officer Christoph Becker, Hein will be supported by EMEA marketing director, Patrick Danaher.

Commenting on the appointment, Becker said, “Our 600-plus creative minds in 17 offices around the globe are creating a new agency model and culture. We are building them around the power of humanly relevant ideas. Ken recognizes the old agency practices are dead. We have a refreshing story to tell and Ken is the perfect person to tell it. I know his contribution to our rapidly expanding global idea shop will be immense.”
