KEITH LOELL APPOINTED ECD IN GYRO NEW YORK

[NEW YORK – OCTOBER, 25,  2011] – gyro, the b2b agency, has appointed Keith Loell as executive creative director for its New York office.

He joins gyro from Grey New York where he was SVP creative director and led the global Panadol team.

Loell’s work is globally recognized across all the creative disciplines, with highlights including One Show Gold in Interactive, Direct and Outdoor at Cannes Lions, Epica Gold in Print and ADC Gold in TV.

Keith began his advertising career at Della Femina, EURORSCG; a group for which he has done work in the US, Singapore and Switzerland, gaining crucial insights into worldwide advertising.

While in Switzerland, he worked on projects initially with EuroRSCG and then Lowe Advertising – where he became executive creative director and board member. These projects included work for Volkswagen, BMW, Credit Suisse and award-winning Orange Telecommunications campaigns.

Between 2006 and 2007, he doubled the size of Lowe’s creative department which then became the second most awarded Swiss agency at Cannes in 2007.

His career in New York began in 2008 at DraftFCB where he was executive creative director, before moving to Grey and now gyro.

Keith Loell will join Keith Turco, president, in jointly running the New York marketing agency. Turco joined gyro 12 months ago from CA Technologies, where he headed up global corporate marketing for the Fortune 500 Company. He was also previously a senior partner at OgilvyONE for over six years.

Christoph Becker, chief executive and chief creative officer at gyro, said, “As our New York office continues to grow, Keith Loell’s timely appointment as ECD will help gyro consolidate its global position as an agency which delivers compelling and humanly relevant ideas for some of the most renowned brands in the market. The work Keith has done across the world demonstrates his far reaching expertise and I look forward to see his stunning ideas and work shine with us.”

Last month gyro New York moved into a new 12,000 square foot Manhattan office space. The office has experienced amazing growth, both across existing and new clients. It currently works with Virgin Atlantic, Forbes, Lighting Science Group and Sailor Jerry.
