NEW YORK – gyro, the global ideas shop, has tapped Lauren Glazer as client services director.
Glazer has a long, solid history of ensuring account teams are working seamlessly to deliver exceptional, effective work – on brief, on budget and on time.
Glazer joins gyro from BBDO, where she was the SVP, account director on ExxonMobil’s Chemical and Corporate businesses. Prior to her stint at BBDO, Glazer spent six years at Wieden+Kennedy. Starting in the Portland office on the Target account, she was swiftly promoted to new business manager. A successful run of pitches, including Levi’s and Delta Air Lines, found Glazer with the opportunity to run the Delta business out of the Wieden+Kennedy New York office. She spent three years there, successfully launching and evolving the airline’s iconic “Keep Climbing” campaign.
“The chance to join an agency with the energy and momentum of gyro doesn’t come along every day,” said Glazer. “I feel fortunate to be able to work with the truly incredible group of people here to help bring the agency’s unique mission of creating humanly relevant ideas to life for our clients.”
Keith Turco, president of gyro New York, said, “Lauren is a true client services professional. Her experience working on some of the world’s top brands will be a great asset for gyro New York’s growing client base.”
“Lauren’s a perfect fit for us. She’s fun and smart and knows what big ideas look like,” said Keith Loell, executive creative director, gyro New York. “She’s worked at some great agencies on iconic brands and we’re fortunate to have her here.”
