(LONDON – 1 April, 2011) – B2b agency gyro has secured a major addition to its global Planning function with the appointment of Kevin Allen as its international planning director.
Allen joins the London marketing agency this month in the newly created role from BBDO/Proximity Worldwide where he was global head of planning since 2008. Whilst at BBDO/Proximity Worldwide, Allen was instrumental in developing some of the agency’s largest international clients, such as GE, Bayer and Allianz.
Prior to joining BBDO/Proximity Worldwide, Allen set up his own agency in 2000, Wild Onion, which later merged with independent shop, CrammFrancis Woolf. Allen’s move to gyro signals a major investment by the agency across planning and creative to support its growing number of global clients.
So far this year, gyro has won global assignments for FedEx and Heathrow Express.
