LONDON – (June 1, 2010) – gyro (GyroHSR) today named Rick Segal to the post of worldwide president – chief practice officer, signaling a deeper strategic commitment to the global b2b marketing services segment. He will be responsible for maximizing gyro’s recently achieved stature as the world’s largest independent b2b focused agency.

Gyro (GyroHSR) was formed last year by the merger of Gyro International Limited and HSR Business to Business LLC, creating world’s largest independent B-to-B focused agency. Advertising Age listed gyro in April among the “World’s Top 50 Agency Companies”.
Segal was co-founder of HSR Business to Business in 1981. He has been regularly named to Crain’s BtoB magazine’s “Who’s Who” list and was featured as one of 53 “Seers and Sages of the Techno-Future” by Forbes ASAP magazine. He was an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year finalist, and his comments have appeared in business, technology and marketing publications including Forbes, The New York Times, BusinessWeek, Newsweek and The Boston Globe. He currently serves as a member of the national board of directors of the American Advertising Federation, a member of the executive committee of the Advertising Hall of Fame, a member of the advisory board of the Institute for the Study of Business Markets (ISBM) and is vice chairman of BPA Worldwide, the audit bureau of the business and trade media industry. He also serves on the board of the Ashbrook Center for Public Affairs at Ashland University.
Segal previously served as GyroHSR’s chief executive – North America. He continues to serve as a member of the firm’s board of directors.
