Harnessing the passion and pride that bakers put into their creations, gyro gave an idea to Hobart — makers of premium mixers, ovens and other foodservice equipment — that would go beyond a mere campaign to become a movement. “Get Back to Scratch” featured inspirational storytelling videos from bakers and chefs who have built their own businesses from scratch, as well as relevant content designed to be the go-to resource for food professionals trying to succeed and grow their businesses. As a result of the “Get Back to Scratch” movement, Hobart’s perception as a premium supporter of the real-food movement was huge, with more than 500,000 page views on the website, 32,000 unique visitors per month and over 600 businesses nationwide enrolling in the movement.
